BMC ones are 1/35 (Those are pretty good quality) and the ones form wal-mart are a bit smaller. I collect them and have about a regiment. The tanks and such are out of scale, BMC makes some in scale.

What scale are those standard size armymen anyway? they look like they're close to 1/32.

yes, that's what i'm doing but im a child myself(an 12 year old middleschooler) and I would say it's looking pretty good. i'll post them online for you as soon as I can find my photo shop CD or figure out how to post it

the injection marks(?) are really hard to sand off thoughSoapBox [soapbox]

and the little stands that they are molded on are a little good for individual dio's
if I cant find my photo shop CD how much to they sell for?

However for those of us with young kids they work great as training figures. I coat the green army men with a flat spray paint, let em dry and then my eight year old can practice for hours.

If you like soft plastic blobs, they will do. The plastic army men are poorly detailed and are made of a plastic that does not paint well. I wouldn't use them.
