Latest Fiqure Finally Completed
Posted by South Aussie on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 1:01 AM
I finally found time to finish Warriors 1/16 scale "AFRIKA KORP TANKER" The full fiqure was painted with Vallajo Acrylics. I used this fiqure to experiment with these paints and was quite happy with the results and now intend to use them for my fiqures. The ground work on the base was also coloured with Vallajo.

Interested in all feedback either positive or negative.

Looks great. Wish the pics would enlarge. I am a big fan of Vallejo. About the only acrylic I use since discovering them a few years ago.

Regards, Rick

When I bought Valejo paints I had a faint idea of how good they are...

Now I know how really good they are!

But then what a Valejo paint worth in the wrong hands??

South Aussie, you sure have the right hands!
thank you for the inspiration!! Bow [bow]

You've made a monochromatic scheme look quite good.

Thanks for your comments Simon. It took me a while to adapt to using the Vallajo Acrylics but Im glad I kept at it, had to develop new shading techniques for the skin tones. I am now experimenting with their Air Brush range for my armor models.
