SOL from Korea makes SWAT figures in both 1/35th and 120MM. Both are had to get a hold of in the US, but I can say the 120MM figures (they do three of them) are nicely done and out of the box represent members of the LAPD.

Nemrod also makes a bust of a French GIGN member in 120MM.

Plenty of SEALs and modern special ops figures out there in 120MM some of the best are made by Airborne Miniatures.

thanks for the detailed reply!

Adding pictures to your post is pretty easy. If you go to the reply button, not the box on the bottom of the post, you will get a field to reply in and a row of buttons after the word Format. There is a button with a yellow square with a mountain on it. This is the add picture button. When you click it, you get a code to put the link to the picture in between, it looks like this, only without spaces. You can also just remember the code and use it in the quick reply box at the end of the post as well. To get the link to put in, find an image on the internet and right click it, then click properties. You will see the word Address: and a html link following it. Copy the link and place it between the code from before. Like so (without any spaces though, spaces are so it still shows up), [ img ] http://www.greatmodels.com/inventory/images/Dmldragon/dr6502.JPG [ /img ]

Once it is there, that is it. The result.

Hope that makes sense.

DML does quite afew SWAT type figure sets. There are the LAPD SWAT team, NYPD Emergency Service Unit, British SAS Anti Terror unit, and German GSG-9. May be a few others that I am missing as well. Any of their modern SEAL sets and most of their modern Soldier sets can be made into SWAT teams as well.

LAPD SWAT:

NYPD Emergency Service Unit:

Britis SAS:

German GSG-9:

Hong Kong SDU (same set as British SAS with different heads/helmets):

Modern (ODS era) SEAL team:

Modern SEAL team:

SEAL team Vietnam #1:

SEAL team Vietnam #2:

Most of the above would work, especially is you swap out some weapons and body pieces.

DML or Dragon makes many sets of SEALS, Vietnam and modern. I think they've got at least one SWAT set as well. Those are the ones that I know of in 1/35. There are usually four figures in each set, different poses and a good selection of weapons. You could also probably use the GSG-9 set as a SWAT team, if pressed to get some variation.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.
