Pyro Figure Question
Posted by schulerwb24 on Friday, February 18, 2005 12:03 PM
I stumbled on and acquired a batch of the old Pyro figures, Wyatt Earp, the cowboy with saddle, and US Marshall, Gil Favor. These are really crude figures, especially when compared to the Aurora figures of the same period. I was intriged by the style of the figures- the legs are overly bow legged and the faces have exaggerated features. The mouths have turn down frowns, the eyes are just slits, and the eyebrows and eye ridges are large and very raised. These seem to be based on a particular style of figure, I have seen it before, but can not place what it is. Does anyone know what these were based on?

Does anyone have any history on these figures made by Pyro?

Thanks in advance.
