m1a1fan,

Kalmbach, which publishes the FSM magazine has a line of books on scale modeling, and they have a book on painting figures. They also used to publish a book by Sheperd Paine titled "Building and Painting Scale Figures".
If you look on the home page of this website and look under "Our Products" you can probably find the Kalmbach books there.
For uniform guides, Osprey has a huge line of books that shows uniforms, equipment, etc. from all eras and almost every war.

I hope this helps a little,

Hello,

I'm just beginning to paint 1/35th military figures and was curious to find out if there are any good websites or publications that I could pick up dealing with this subject. I guess more of a beginners guide would be necessary. I did some searching and found a small guide on testors website but the pictures were terrible. I looked around on Verlinden's website but came up empty handed. Any help would be appreciated!
