Thanks for the comment. This was done with acrylics..but it was done with many thinned layers . I may have done like 20 layeres to gradually build the color richness up on the reds, whites, and blues.
The wall was scratchbuilt out of pink foam board. It is done using a really simple technique from an article i found on the net. If anyone is intrested let me know.

Wow Mary that is a fantastic figure!! I myself am going to attempt my first figure very soon, I hope that I can do half as good as you did. I was suprised to read that you used acrylics instead of oils...I was truly fooled!! Really liked the wall, and the grassy knoll!! Thanks for the peek!
