1/24 figures?
Posted by gunner19k on Friday, April 1, 2005 1:10 AM
Are they even available is my only hope in finding a "close" scale and doing a bit of modifying to it? I'm looking for WWII Axis aircrew in particular for now...

The good news is that they are available, bad news is that I can't remember who makes them since it's not really my thing. Keep looking on the net though I'm sure you will find them.

Try Historex, and remember that 75mm (or maybe it was 90mm - someone on here is bound to remember which) is pretty close to 1/24. Here's a link to a couple of ebay auctions, the company that makes these figures is Imperial Gallery, they do have a website. Not aircrew I know, but they might make others in 1/24.

chk out http://www.preiser.co.uk/ then search for LGB/G figures

nzgunnie... Those look good, but innapropriate for my kit, since I'm looking for aircrew figs, mechanics, etc...

bbailey... Right scale, but those figs are way too "Cartoonish" looking...

I'm pretty sure I can modify Tamiya's 1/24 Rally race team, probably gonna go that route...
