You can't really go from standing to laying effectively without resculpting the entire figure down to the "skin". The original sculptor has allowed for the effects of gravity pulling clothing downward, folds, therefore, are layed horizotally across the figure. When a figure is supine or prone, those folds will lay head to foot along the length of the body. Further, looser clothing will splay out or bunch up on the surface touvhing the ground. A figure who is prone will have to have a hyperextended neck to be looking forward, similar to a standing figure looking at the sky.
Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
