Dullcote is a type of clear-coat, it is flat and without shine. It is best to seal the figure with some type of clear-coat. Flat, satin, or gloss depends on the figure and what you are depicting.

I've just finished painting a set of figures for a diorama, and now I'm not exactly sure what to do now. Is it best to put on a dull-coat now and thats all? Would clear-coat work as well, or would it end up too shiny?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
