Yeah I built that kit a looong time ago. I wantewd to build something but my mum was in a bad mood so I built it for her sort of killing 2 birds with one stone (terrible pun I know) they arent too bad and are something diferent to try. I reckon now I could make a decent job of them but then I was pretty new to it all but my mum still liked them and had them on display till she could discreetly hide them lol

When I was a kid, there was a series of bird kits that came with paint in little pellets to owhich you added some sort of solvent (Probably highly toxic!). The company may have been "Lifelike" or "Scientific."
Given what people can do with a block of wood to make a realistic decoy, I'm sure a good painter could do wonders with these.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I recently saw a Airfix kit with (two?) Robin's (the bird, with the red breast, not the chopper) at a swap meet. I was very tempted to buy it.

I would like to know, has anyone build it? Can you make a life like bird from plastic? Should I have bought it?
