Thanks for the info. I have found a few places that sell modern weapons. Think-one-eighty.com, Verlinden have some new figures, and there are a couple more our there.

Hi, when I bought my Dragon Tiger Tank,on internethobbies.com I found all sorts of extra's...I picked up Tamiya's 1:35 Military Miniatures German Infantry weapons set with pistols, rifles, sub machine guns, full auto matic machine guns, etc.etc....Also I got Academy's 1:35 A.F.V. Miniature Accessories with 50 gal fuel drum with hand pump, hose, shovels, axe's, jerry can's, ammo box's, 50 Cal. machine gun, gun cleaning kit for the gun on a tank, crow bar's, etc, etc. ammo for the 20 mm gun on my 1:35 Dragon half track and all sorts of really cool goodies for my other Armor model's, all in 1:35th scale...They have this in all the scales too..I also got more than I care to list here for fear y'all will be thinking "Where is he going to put all that fire power? ha,ha....
In 3 days, between the M&M HS in Bakersfield, Smiths HS in Lancaster and internethobbies.com, I spent $487.27!.... I bought 13 1:35 Armor kits, German figures, weapons, diorama goodies, etc....
I'm going into the hospital next month to have Open Heart surgery to replace my Aorta Valve and will be laid up for 6 week's... Because I'm single and a amputee, the Dr said he's placing me in a convalesent hospital for lots of PT for 4 to 6 week's, to build up the muscles that they cut, and give my breast plate a chanch to heal, becaude I can't walk, I use my hands to motivate myself in my wheelchair and he says I'll be NOT in shape to live alone till I heal a bit...So I'll have lots of time to do my new Armor when I finally do get back home.......
First on the list is the new Trumpeter 1:35 Faun Elefant SLT56 Tank Transporter Kit!......It makes the 1:35 Dragon Wagon look Sad!...Got it for $71.98 from internethobbies.com...
I also picked up the 1:35 Sdkfz Kleines Kettenkraftrad German Motorcycle Tractor w/crew for $10.29 from them too..I've been everywhere looking for this one in 1:35...
I thought those other internet hobby stores sold their models at a good price, But internethobbies.com has them all beat and they say if you find a price on-line cheaper than they are, they will match or beat that price...
So If your looking for 1:35 scale weapon's, Kit's etc...Or any scale! Thats the place to buy them!
First time buyers get $10.00 off their second sale, you put your customer # from your first sale on your second order and they'll take $10.00 off it... Try them you'll like them! I promise! Oh yea!... I'm not working for them or anything! Again this I promise! I 'm just an old retired guy living on socal security and look for the cheapest good deals on the internet or LHS's and buy as much as I can afford, then kick back and have fun building and not sitting here watching TV 24/7...Being single, I now have a stash of 78 models in 8 months...Think I like collecting them too..Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]...Ha,ha...And no wife yelling at me!..........

Good luck on your operation and I hope all comes out well, but what does all this have to do with Modern Weapons sets?

Dragon Models also has a set of the AK family and if I am not mistaken a modern MG set and a AR-15 as well. These 8$ kits include about 20-25 of the given firearms of many variants.
Well worth the money if you are looking for this kind of stuff.

Here is a recent thread at Armorama on the same subject. Bottom line, there isn't much out there in the way of truely modern weapons with all the added extras. To get the most modern stuff, you have to take existing weapons and add the extra bits to them.

With the recent developments in Weapons and all the accociated stuff that hangs off them, (Holotech sights, NAD's, laser sights, scopes) and things like that, does anyone know of anyone who makes modern 1/35 scale weapons with all the accessories? I am trying to make some modern special forces kits and am having a hard time trying to finish them.
