Smile [:)]have to admit do not do many figures, but the airfix multipose figures are excellent value for money.
they look good when posed alongside the airfix rommel,s half track and montys humber.
(which are also in 1/32nd).
have to disagree about using their equipment on 1/35th scale figures it looks way out of scale.

Matsisgren:

When purchasing, or deciding to purchase, the Airfix multipose figgies, bear in mind that they are a re-release of the old sets. This means that although the moulds may have been slightly retooled or touched up, they are still the same as way back when in the day when Airfix was still big... Wink [;)]

Re. the scale, again this is a throwback of the old moulds. So the figgies will appear slightly bigger than the convensional 1/35th figures - but equipment doesn't... one size fits all... by adding 1/35th equipment you would be able to portray them as taller lads...

Rumour is the kits were fantastic...

Personally I think the Airfix re-releases are really only catering to the nostalgic...

matsisgren;

The Airfix Multipose kits I have are a good bang for the buck kit. The scale is 1/32 so it makes it a little difficult to incorporate with other figures of 1/35. However, as individual or in a vignette, you definitely get a nice kit for the money.

Which kit were you looking at building. I have the old 12 figure series kits. I think the "new" kit only has six or maybe eight figures. The British Army Europe 39-45 has to be my favourite of the series. Great amounts of detail and lots of possibility for unique conversion.

Try a kit out you won't regret it.

Cheers;

Hi there!

I'm a little bit curious about the Multipose sets from Airfix. One odd thing is the scale but how are the quality on the mouldings? Are they good value for the money?
