Asuryman and Tyrus...Live from Terra (Part deux)

Continuing...Big Smile [:D]...This is what I think is called Asuryman. He hails from a company known as ForgeWorld. Limited run I guess because he is no longer offered. My wife purchased him for me 2 Christmases ago. He was beautifal. The only complaint I had, he was about 100mm and a 1 piece resin cast (including base). Made it kind of difficult to work with. I figure I layered and feathered roughly 5 levels on him, starting with a mid blue and ending with the sky blue finish. I was going to shoot for an almost white finish, but was happy when I reached the shade seen here. The base was painted a pure black with the surface given about 5 coats of future. You can see your face in it. Tongue [:P] Jewels were located all over the place, there is a technique detailed by the GW painters that can be used. I experimented with just putting multiple coats of future on the jewels themselves. I'm not sure yet whether I like it yet or not. Might go back and rework them. Other than the one piece mold, it was a pleasure to work on this guy. Just finished him about two days ago. Maybe took 2 weeks at a couple of hours a night. Some of the detail is washed especially the cape and loincloth due to crappy lighting. Dead [xx(] After these, I think its time to work on a gigantic robot...little less strain on the mk1 mod1 eyeball. So here are the pictures...comments and critiques welcome. Enjoy Wink [;)]
