I know exactly what you are talking about, Gino.
I was looking at some 1/35 military figures from one of the on-line shops and out of the blue is about 3 or 4 totally nude and on at least one, very anatomically correct, female figures. Then, back to more military.
I, too, don't have any idea where one would display these or why.
I guess, to each there own.

Randie,
I wasn't talking about this figure specifically, I couldn't see it either. Now that I have, it is relatively tame, kinda wierd, but not too racy. There are some that are straight out of Penthouse though. Still don't get why or where you would put something like this.

I fully agree about the porn figs, those are rather tasteless.

Said that some people might consider some of the kits I got "porn" figures" even though none show naked breasts or similar parts.

I have found that there are often only 1~3 kits of a specific character that appeal to me even though about 15 might be on the market.
For me the pose, overall impression etc is more important than if the kit is of a known character.

I don't get the whole point in porno figures. Why make them? Do people get off painting them or something? Why and where would you display them? It is just weird to me. I have a wife and kids. I wouldn't want them looking at this stuff on the bench or shelf. I just don't get it.

That's still a tame kit. Wink [;)] I got another kit of the same character in the stash, which I think looks and works better.

With the decline of licenced anime/manga character kits we tend to see more and more kits that are pretty much borderline, IMHO.
Don't even look at the G-Taste or X-Brand kits.

Unfortunately, most of the good sculptors have moved on either because they companies that they worked for closed down or because they can earn more doing more commercial sculpts.

Sadly yes, I've seen Censored [censored] like that displayed at vendors booths before and on VLS's website

Question about an anime figure

Take a look at this:

http://www.hlj.com/images/cad/cad01066.jpg

Note that, besides the bulging bust, she has a belt wrapped around her neck, and her wrists are bound too.

Query, where would you put this in your home? It's too big to slip under the mattress! Laugh [(-D] Seriously, do people actually display things like this?
