Looking for 1/35 animals
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, September 5, 2005 12:23 AM
I am doing a diorama and need birds. Specifically pheasants. Any suggestions? I know there are some livestock kits out there in 1/35. Does anyone know of any birds in 1/35 scale? if not pheasanst any bird other than ducks and chickens will do.

My idea is a Flak Panzer crew resting while pheasant hunting in the brush. I want the birds as a comical irony to offset the Flak Panzer.

HELP!!!

Thanks!

If I remember correctly Tamiya makes a livestock set with some chicken.
EMI and Andrea also have some chicken and other birds, but I'm afraid you won't find a pheasant.

Halfway down the page is a listing for a set of three quail in resin. While there's no picture, I have seen these and they are quite a nice casting.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I needed a couple of birds for the same reason (comic relief). I stumbled across two in Tamiya kit of "German Tank Crew At Rest" kit # 35201.
