15th c. archer complete, YAAAA! (pics)
Well guys I finished it. This was the fig I was using for the CBP but unfortunately schedule did not permit me making the deadline.
Resin, 120mm painted with acrylics and oils. The bow string is a bow string I made up (just like the real ones) with loops on the end and the server area whipped with fine thread. The arrow shafts are brass wire painted and the original resin arrow heads were clipped from their original shafts, drilled and mounted on the new brass shafts. All accessories on this fig (Dagger, sword, arrow bag) were resin and attached with white glue. The assembly of the figure itself was done using CA.
The base is mdf and I painted it to look like limestone.
Ground effect is made using celluclay mixed with some dirt and kitty litter. The tall grass is hemp strands and the shorter grass is static grass. The ground was painted first with a light brown and then with a forest green. This was then hit with a dark wash and then dry brushed. The grass was added and some additional bits from some dried flower stuff my wife let me pillage through. The rock was painted to look like it was lichen covered.

Thanks and let me know what you think.
