Toybiz Spiderman and The BlackCat
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, November 17, 2005 5:02 PM

I combined the two Toy-Biz kits into one. I made The BlackCat by using Toy-Biz's Storm. Spidey and BlackCat are both done in Acrylics. Her hair is mohair, the color is Honey Blonde. I had to modify her legs as one was longer than the other. The tufts on her suit are cotton. The choker is made from cording and a seed bead. I had to sand through her in many places to remove Storms cape,  I used automotive glazing putty for smoothing her out. Her skin tone was a base of pink with three different shades consisting of Parchment, Camel and White. Lips are Pink and eyes are Emerald Green with a coat of Future. Her suit zipper and pull ring are painted on with Silver Chrome. Any questions feel free to ask and thanks for looking!

Nice! I have a Horizon vinyl Hulk figure that I am making into McFarlane's version of the Grey hulk. So far I have used hair weave for his hair and I have molded his caveman brow using spackle. I'll have to atake a oic and post it this weekend. I noticed that non-military figures don't seem to get much attention on this thread. Oh and check out my Thing model. I got more response posting it in the sci fi section.
