Glencoe has (had) an older US Parachute soldier in thier range and I still see them now and then in shops and at swap meets.  The boxtop was one of thier tall /slender boxes and depicted the soldier under the canopy  as a painting, so you cant tell much from the kit. I have never actualy SEEN one of thse built up or reviewed.  So, yes it is avialable but it will be a crap shoot on what you get.

The Glencoe Paratrooper is also in a large scale, 1/15 I believe.  Never seen any in 1/35.

I received the Glencoe kit a few years ago as a Christmas gift (Not to be ungrateful) but it should have been left on the shelf. The figure is HORRIBLE!!!! The only pieces I salvaged were the M16/M203 one of the two heads and the PASGT helmet. The rest of the kit I binned. How's that for a review.

As far as figures in "landing" or "decending" poses I do not know of any production variants. However, there are kits in various scales that are in full jump kit available. Verlinden, Hornet, and some of the others to look for on eBay or at shows are New Hope,Series 77, Chota Sahib. Either way it would not be a difficult conversion of any of the standard figures available in either plastic or resin. It only takes a razor saw, a little patience, and some filling of gaps to recreate the desired pose(s).

Cheers;

Gregory
