Very nice work. Alan does great work as well. I had  a few occassions to talk with him at the Chicago show and talk shop about sculpting. I picked his brain a bit, of course. Very friendly and forthcoming with tips and whatnot. His wife Marion is an incredible painter. What I wouldn't give for a good looking gal, who could paint figures that well, to enter my life and let me focus on sculpting.Smile [:)]

The 54 mm kit, sculpted by Alan Ball, and produced by Der Bunde Rock, is based on a Robert Griffing painting. It depicts a Woodland Indian taking a rest and having a bit of tobacco. He holds his flintlock close. The figure is painted almost exclusively in Andres/Vallejo acrylics. The musket was replaced with a Michael Roberts casting due to a small defect on the strap. The base has added 3 Guyz grass and Hudson and Allen litter. The small tree was added form some dried flower product from a craft store. The fire was achieved by painting the ends of the logs with Andrea Games Fire Orange with Bright Yellow dry brushing. The smoke was made from a tiny bit of unraveled cotton ball, sprayed with aerosol hair spray and attached to the center with a drop of white glue. Scenery was found on the internet and printed on regular copy paper.
