nicely written article. I may have not given enough dry time between oil layers when I was using oils, now Im using Reaper acrylics, which are very simliar in all regards to Vallejo and include skin tone "triads" pre mixed for generic skin tones.  I can cut or modify the tones with an undercoat color or a filter on top.

I am working on a 1/16 bust of a samurai. Any ideas on color to use for asian flesh? I am using oils. I either make it too pink or too brown. Thanks for the help in advance guys!
