WIP; Figures completed
Posted by ajlafleche on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 11:42 AM

A couple weeks back, I posted some pictures of a work in progress with the ground work only. Here are the figures that will be in that scene. The first is an old Pegaso casting and the rest are the figures included in Time Machine’s {i]Bushy Run Station[/i]. Both Highlanders have scratchbuilt powder horns and new garters to hold up their leggings. The Pegaso figure was shortened by cutting a section of his legs just above the ankles. The other figure had the cast metal roach replaced with one made from Woodland Scenic long grass. The feathers were replaced with cut down fly tying feathers. The tomahawk was moved from his right hand to his left which had been holding a musket (not very useful is hand to hand fighting) and a scratchbuilt war club was placed in his right hand. The first Indian wears overall balck war paint and the second red paint to his waist.

Would love to see all these figures put together on a same diorama.  I would never dream to do something like this (as my level of skill is only limited to snap type only).

I did the basic colors on Easter Sunday...16 April and thought I'd be able to get them done for this wekend. There were a few things I'd done before, such as reworking the red war painted Indian's roach with Woodland Scenics long grass and scratcbuilding his war club. Go to the thread "Bushy Run Station" below to see the finished vignette.
