The helmets are just perfect for the last period of the war, they are covered with a camouflage cloth, so you have to paint them too like you paint the camo uniforms.

The camo can be a different model or the same with the the uniforms.

I hardly wait to see pictures of your dio...:)

Painted soldiers from Pegasus sets regarding Germans in WWII can't be easely found on the internet. Except panzer 46 page I couldn't find others.....

lol, thankyou, i did reserahc an dhad knowledge of the uniform anyway, but still had reservations, thankyou very much, the main thing i was worrie dabout was the helemts? are they still ok to use, i noticed they are different from the standard helmets.

Of course, you can use them in each period of the war. The uniform wore by those figures was kept till 1945. Moreover, even the M1934 uniform was delivered to troops till 1945.

So use them without any hesitation. I have also these sets and  I intend to use them in  a Normandy dio. Just remove the stips form the arms of the figures that are in Set1 if you use them in another period than 1943.

I noticed that most of figures form set 2 are slighty smaller than those from set 1. They are not at 1/76, but there is a small difference, mostly seen at head and weapons. But it doesn't matter they can be used on the same dio.

i have recently purchased both waffen ss sets by pegasus, they are based on soldiers who fought in the battle of the kursk, does anybody know if these figures coul;d be used for any other campaigns
