What paints to use for US OIF 3-color DCUs and 4-color BDUs?

I'm getting ready to build Dragon's 1/35 scale OIF Marines, but don't know what paints to use for the three-color DCUs worn by US troops until last year or the four-color woodland pattern that many Marines and Army guys had on their Interceptor vests in '03-'05.  I'm partial to enamels, but am willing to use acrylics if that's what I need to do to get a good match out of the bottle.  I'm really bad at consistently mixing paints to a particular shade Shock [:O], so out-of-the-bottle is a must.  Any tips on specific colors for the figures' personal gear are also welcome.

Thanks!

Below are all Testors Model Master enamels.

3-Color DCUs: base of Sand, FS 33531; Khaki Green squiggles, SAC Bomber Tan, FS 34201; Brown shadow squiggles, leather brown.

Woodland Camo:  base of Medium Green, FS 34102; brown squiggles, leather brown; Khaki Green squiggles, SAC Bomber Tan, FS 34201; black squiggles, flat black, FS 37038.

Most gear is a green color and can be any shade of green from OD Green to dark green, depending on how old or worn the gear is.  Some of the newer gear is woodland or 3-color Desert camo as well.  Sleeping bag stuff sacks are black (Tamiya's colors in their Modern US Military Equipment set are wrong).

Thanks for the detailed information, HeavyArty.  It's nice to know I can find a helping hand on this forum as I get back into the hobby after 10 years.

No problem.

Here are a couple articles that may help out as well from Armorama's Historicus Forma Figure Website.

Painting and Building an OIF Vignette by Mario Matijasic.

Good luck.
