Realistic figures
Posted by johncpo on Monday, July 17, 2006 11:43 AM

Does anyone out there have 1:35 scale WW 2 figures that would go with the Italeri 105mm Howitzer. The quality of Italeri's figures is lacking for the diorama-minded person such as myself.

I could kitbash Tamiya or DML, both of which are good figure model comapnies or see if anyone on the forums has any ideas.

I'm looking for a "crew" of three or four men as the Italeri " DUKW" ,another great kit, is coming onto the beach as depicted in Italeri's addition to kits, only I bought both the DUKW and the '105 one at a time. ( who'd have guessed the two would be included in one kit , as with several other releases !! )

Thanks, and willing to trade in the same category - WW 2 , ( if I have the kit )

most tamiya allied wheeled or halftrack vehicles comes with driver figures.  The dragonwagon comes a full crew set for the cabin.  Try ask at the armor section to see if anyone has leftovers in their spare boxes.

For artillery crew, I think AFV Club / Hobbyfan has a crew set for their long tom which should be able to be used for the 105.

Thank you for the info, after posting I saw the Longtom and crew and noted that feature.
