At the end of the day, that's all you really need to know. I've never
known anyone in the figure modeling community that got on anyone's case
about color tone, unless it was inarguably, just plain wrong. Figure
modelers aren't like aircraft and armor modelers can be sometimes. We
don't have the any totalitarian color police, and if we do, they aren't
taken seriously. You have a lot of room to play, and weathering/fading
always provides an alibi. If it looks like the color in the
Squadron/Signal book, it'll pass muster at a show. If it looks right,
then it is right.
