Agreed. Citadel or GW white or grey primer will be fine. I recently got a can of MR. Surfacer 1200 spray and I am in love with it. Otherwise I hve used light coats of Duplicolor grey sandable primer (mainly for resin!)

Do not thin the Mr. Surfacer with alcohol.  You should thin it with Mr. Leveling Thinner.  I recommend getting the Mr. Surfacer in a spray can for Priming.  Citadel primer and Tamiya primer are also very good.

Cheers

Should I be priming my resin figures with Mr. Surfacer 1200, now that I got my airbrush working? What would be the ratio if I thinned with alcohol, if that's what I should thin with?
