Here is my Halloween Sophie from Reaper Miniatures in 28MM . She is thier company mascot and this is the newest from them.  I painted her with Reaper acrylics and posed her on a table leg cut down to size to accept an LED and battery pack.

Very nice work (and subject)!

I like how you made the stones pour out of the base.

Good looking figure!...I remember when one could purchase a model kit for less what a bottle of paint costs today.

Thanks Avus and Shooter!

I had a lot of fun with her. As of yesterday (saturday the 28th) she took second place at Gatorcon 06 in Lafayette LA.

The stones are actually crushed walnut hulls used for media blasting. I was given a whole bag of these things, more than a lifetime supply, and they work great for groundwork in all scales.

I applied them with thinned white (PVA) glue to the cast metal base and attached the pumpkin base to the base I made, let it dry, then just applied a ragged thicker layer of glue to attach more of the groundwork "falling".

I got to see some EXCELLENT groundwork bases yesterday, and hope these guys that do such wonderful work will put on some demo's to show us thier skills!
