Painting dinosaurs
Posted by TB6088 on Sunday, November 12, 2006 4:03 PM

I recently bought a couple of Tamiya dinosaur kits, and was wondering if any of you out there know of any good sources for tips on painting/airbrushing them?  I can see all kinds of possibilities for pre-shading, highlighting, washes, pastels, etc, etc... but it would be good to hear how others have approached it.  Thanks,

TomB

One suggestion is to research the dino's classification to help with the eyes.  If it was more bird-like or reptile-like will affect the shape of the eye.  A drop of gloss or semigloss does wonders on eyes.  Gives them real shine.
