There is some variation in the wheels and undercarriage, as well as minor changes on the barrel. I don't have much information available on this weapon.

I believe there is one in Aberdeen.  It looks the same, but I might be wrong.

Photos of this weapon are hard to find. Here is a shot of the 10.5 LG 40 in use;

One source I have lists 450 7.5cm LG 40 were produced. These were an air-drop weapon for use by Fallschirmjager troops. They were used to good effect during the Battle of Crete.

Hi

How commonly used was this recoilless gun? The kit is good value and I'm considering getting it for an Italian theatre diorama but I can't find any in-action pictures. For that matter, any reference on this weapon is hard to come by.
