Yeah, the 1/8th Wittman is another of my garage kits. Scale's a bit odd, but when I sculpted it I was sorta ignorant of ind standards in such kits. Glad you like it.

Ya, I agree.  Just like the discussion over SteveM's new Hitler figure, I think it's fine to model stuff like that.  Like someone in that thread said, just because you model something doesn't mean you approve of it.  Your just trying to show history.  And you did a great job capturing a bit of history on this one!  Great work, have anymore new figures?

Ian;

thank you for the kind remarks about my figure, at 8" tall hitting that level of detail is'nt too too hard, the difficulty was blending all those colors on the smock.  I feel the the death head device is o.k. in the arena of military figures,  My late mother, a czech partisan was intered by the nazi's until apr 45, when she was libberated from Dachau. So I was raised knowing about the terrible things done to humanity for the swasticka. To walk around in S.S iconology, is to disgrace the sacrifice our parents made for us.  Thousands of our young men's bodies littered the european landscape, and people wear the enimies colors, thats not right.  Anyway thanks again, and remember this kit is availible if you want, just email me at armygrpcenter @yahoo.com

Very nice!  Your eyes look great, something I have trouble with.  Also, all the colors look nice and soft, without looking shiny or "new"  or anything.  Also, that was a very cool and  different idea to put the totenkopf "logo" in the dirt.  A bit off topic, but recently Wal Mart was found to be selling shirts with the Totenkopf logo on them.  To me it, seems pretty insulting to any family members of people who had war crimes committed agaisnt them by Totenkopf to see someone wearing around a shirt with them on it.  Or even Jewish people in general, seeing how most of the first members of Totenkopf were previously guards from concentration camps.  But enough off topicness.  Great work!

Here's one of the figures I produce, under [the Army group center banner. Look carefully at the base,the ground is a subtle relief of the "totenkopf" device. [
