1/72 Small Wehrmacht Infantry vignette
Posted by Panzer_Grenadire on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 9:48 AM

This is a very small vignette that I made for a friend of mine last week. It represents some Wehrmacht Infantry soldiers attaching an enemy trench or whatever you want (the enemy is not seen, but must have a gun or a vehicle because a German soldier uses his Raketen-Panzer-Büchse 54 :D)
The figures are from Airfix, Esci and Revell and they were painted with Humbrol, shadowed and washed with oils. I could detail a little bit more these soldiers, but I had not enough time.
The base is from a Matchbox kit and I did not pay too much attention to it, I was focused more on the figures.

I hope you like them and in addition I attached a German SS soldier from the next set that I am going to review, Italeri/Revell "German Elite Troops".

Any opinion and comments are more than welcome.

Amazing work for such a small scale.  Maybe it is a half track they are after.  Some are trying to take out the vehicle and some are picking off passengers.  That guy's trying to throw that grenade in the back.  That sound good??Big Smile [:D]

Thank you very much, I am really glad that you liked it.

The scenarios are great, properly covering the soldiers...:)

Unfortunately, this week I won't be able to post something new, I will not be home...

Once again, thank you!

I'd get frustrated to paint 1/72 figures.  I used to collect and paint 1/72 ESCI figure kits many many moons ago and that was just a plain frustration.

Wow talk about detail. Congrats.  I too am in the Brail scale buisness.  Love all things tiny and warlike!
I love the smell of super glue in the morning. Smells like...victory.
