What Scotty just said.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Tankluver,

My approach has always been to paint the figures as if I were dressing them.  I start with the flesh areas, then each layer of clothing from the inside out (t-shirts first, followed by shirts and pants, ending with outer jackets/coats), and I finish with the boots (and gloves if worn) and outer details like medals or insignia.  This process has worked well for me over the years.  Good luck with your figures.

Base color of the uniform, then the details and flesh.  Or, you could try it backwards and paint all the tiny details, then come back and try to fill in the base color around them.Big Smile [:D]
