90mm Samurai

Here is a 14th century Samurai from Andrea Figures of Spain. The figure is all metal with a resin base. Even though these kits are pricey, they are worth every penny.  :D  The figure is painted with CItadel and Vallejo acrylics. For the base, I added acrylic gel medium to acrylic paint to simulate flowing water, and glued silfor grass with elmers.

All replies, criticisms, welcome...

Outstanding paint job, in my book. How anybody could fight in that headgear is beyond me. I like your ground work and the water looks very realistic. I do love the acrylic gel... this makes me want to open it up and make waterWink [;)]

Is this going to a contest?

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Very Nice Indeed! It must have taken you ages to do the armour and rope colours! Very impressive. I dig the base.
