First figure!!! 1/6 Ambassador Spock

This is the Geometric kit.  Its Ambassador Spock from his appearance[s] in Star Trek: TNG. this was my first figure [aside from quick 1/35 ones]. Its painted using enamels, acrylics, and oils [face].  Comments and critiques welcome.

Very nice.  I like it.  It looks like it builds up nice.  The only thing I noticed is the flesh could have a bit bit of a green tinge to it.  He is Vulcan after all.

Very nicelydone!!

I want it! I have always wantedt this fig to go with my other Geometric vinyls.  How was the assembly? any problem points?

On your next fig, try adding a drop of either blue or green to your flesh paint, it sets "off" the skintone a bit and makes it looks "less human"  .

I think you did a great job capturing Spock's eyes, which I know are not the easiest thing to do.

Great job! Im looking forward to more

The fit was great.  Its only 4 parts, and it actually sat on my workbench for over a month, fully assembled, without a drop of glue.  The fit was that precise. As for the skin tone, I was trying for more of an actual Nimoy look rather than a correct vulcan look.  Didnt want to put up with the "your skin looks green.  He looks sick to me. why did you do that. etc etc" comments.

One of the LHS had it in stock for a long time, but it was expensive.  They finally dropped it way down to get rid of it.  I got it.

I remember when I got my Picard/Locutus/Gowron/Geordi figs they were on deep deep deep discount and were going in the mid twenties then.  Not cheap, but they are very nice figs, well sculpted, great detail.

I love the detail that GEOMetric sculpted on Geordi's tricorder and his visor.
