It's painted rather good, maybe just some more highlight and shading, as has been mentioned before.

The sculpting is not the best. As you said yourself the "Ambassador" is way batter.
Hands look pretty big to me.

the flesh tones were giving me a real problem.  they are actually the same ones used on my ambassador Spock, but they look so different.  The bas is actually painted.  It comes in black.  I gave it an overall grey, with a wash in the recesses and a drybrush on the pad details.

The blue was mixed up from white and medium blue.  I wish I could remember the ratio.  I have the McCoy too, and I sprayed the shirt for that one at the same time.

The eyebrow ridge is part of the sculpting.  And in truth, most people have a ridge area where their eyebrows are.  The eyebrow itself is usually contained withing this ridge.

He looks pretty good. I only notiiced 3 things: the flesh could use a little contrast, you can really see the moulding ridge for his eebrows and the base needs color.  Those are just nitpits though. The kit looks fairly decent.  I have the McCoy from that set.  Which blue did you use? It matches well and Bones is in blue as well.

To go along with my 1/6 Ambassador Spock, this is the AMT Mr. Spock from the Original Series.  Its painted entirely with acrylics, with exception to the gold leaf.  Not as good a kit as the other one, not really happy with this one.  C&C welcome.
