I believe U.S. Paratroopers' uniform from D-day era is different than the uniform worn in Battle of the bulge time frame.  D-Day era is more close to Khaki in Tamiya paint.  I could be wrong, but what you need to do is look for a color photo and try to get the color as close as possible to it.

 i have WWII u.s. soldier figures.... both paratroopers and army infantry... i dont know exactly what what colors there uniforms are... i have tamiya "KHAKI" and "KHAKI DRAB" both dont seem to be the colors..  the infantry pants and tops are diff. and the paratroopers seem to be the same color..... but what color.? thanks.. ( i can only get tamiya paint)
