Clearcoat Question
Posted by Toother1321 on Monday, February 26, 2007 12:04 PM

I have recently aquired a bubble hockey table which is in bad shape. I started to detail all of the figures and it is starting to look really good. I was wondering what clear coat you guys would recomend for such an application. Obviously the puck will impact the players so the clearcoat needs to dry super hard. I would also like it to be glossy. I dont care if its brush or spray on. Any advice would be appreciated.

 Thanks

Steve

Get some Helmsman Spar Urethane spray made by MinWax.  It dries super hard and lasts forever.  It is designed for wood that stays outside, so it is pretty tough.  It comes in Satin and Gloss.
