Well, Im working on an Omaha beach diorama in 1/35, and Ive just started painting the 50+ figures ive collcted with the help of you guys on the forum. Anyways, I decided to paint up the first one last night. As you can see in one of the pictures, the finest brush I had on hand wasnt fine at all, and it made detail work very sloppy. Ive got to get a finer brush, this guy was just a test, the others will look much better. Mainly Im posting this to see if anyone has advice on accuracy. Im sure ive got some details wrong, like colors, eqipment and stuff. Now that I look his knife broke off too, so ill have to fix that. Anyways, I made the strap out of lead foil from Ajlafleche, and the figure itself is from SteveM, thanks a lot. The insigna patch and helmet recognition insigna is just something i printed out. Not as good as a decal, but It looks Alright i thought. So, if you have any suggestions or criticism, please tell me.
Just for scale purposes:
And heres the smallest brush I had....
I tried to leave the plastic gas mask bag glossy:
His face is terible, so I wont show pictures of it. Any suggestions?
