Thanks,

I have the interest to be a collector but not a checking account to support it. Maybe someday when I win a big lottery!!!

They are the same kits. Their lower price is due to a collectibility factor of the original kits.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Are the Aurora monsters figures that "Glow in the Dark" or the "Illuminators (Glow in the Light!)" the same molds as the regular figures? Also, are they made of the same kind of plastic, clear and colored as opposed to opaque.

The reason I ask is because I'm looking to purchase all these kits. I noticed on Ebay that the "Illuminators" frequently go for 1/2 to 2/3 less than the regular kits and have very few bidders. Since I plan to build and paint these I'll go for the cheapest ones if they are all the same thing.
