just to ask how many of you guys airbrush with oil paints ?

its something i just gor into and its really great

Tell us more about your experiences and results. I'm not sure whether there would be any point to airbrushin' with 'em.

I've done it as a weathering technique only, so the stuff was thinned out pretty good (almost to 'wash' consistancy). Never tried it as a way of applying the base coats though.

Just a word of caution:

In almost all the oil brands tubes, you can read a warning specifically about airbrushing with oils. They have a component (I think is cadmium, but I'm not sure) that is safe if the oil is applied with a paintbrush (as is intended), but airborne is very dangerous. So be sure to use a high quality cartridge filter mask for organics vapors.
