The Bazooka like weapon is a Panzerschrek which is the German 88mm version of our bazooka. They saw it, liked it, copied it, and improved upon it..

Late war, the German's were working on infrared scopes which required a heavy battery to operate. Stephen Hunter's first novel, The Master Sniper, uses this technology as a starting point.

hey guys,
I have 2 of these sets in my stash (from 251/1 kits), and I was curious if this is a fictional set or what? What the heck is that bazooka thing called that the one guy is holding? And did the germans really have night spotlights attached to their guns and battery (Im assuming thats what it is) backs on their backs?? Any help appreciated!
