Thanks.. I haven't found a model of the hotel yet, but even a model of the sign in the same scale as the mansion would be cool. This is the Polar lights kit from around 1998. Snagged it for 15 bucks on evilBay

thanks..Grew up in Metairie, work in New Orleans, Live in Pearl River..Did this one in two days with an airbrush, lt grey paint and a black acrylic wash..it s not perfect, but it'l do..

Nice dio mate, a little bit out of the ordinary!!I think to do the scene justice, you could put the house on a hill as portrayed in the movie.It would def. make the house alot "creepier"!

Nice work! I've seen a guy do this as a Model Railroad module. (Yeah, I know ther's no tracks by the Bates Motel but...) He used the old Bachman snap together Motel kit very effectively at the bottom of the hill. Simple landscaping and everyone in the room got what is was. Hardest part could be finding the kits!
