I have seen some aftermarket resin tank crews, but unfortunately the Aussies are SADLY underrepresented by mainstream model/figure companies.

The North African and China/Burma/India theaters are largely neglected in general unfortunately, especially in the 1/6th figure realm. Other than Aircraft, the same goes for the Pacific theater.

I just love this picture that shows a Aussie chatging through the sands with a bayonet and wearing a cowboy hat titled "Aussies lead the way" And how they held of ROmmel at Tobruk for a couple of months. Its sad that their aren't more kits. I can't wait to build the AFV club Centurion MK.V in Aussie service.

The hats are called slouch hats, not cowboy hats.

Check out this company. They do a couple of WW2 tank crews.

Ultracast has a head set with felt bush hats to help convert figures.

I have seen some aftermarket resin tank crews, but unfortunately the Aussies are SADLY underrepresented by mainstream model/figure companies. It would be great if Dragon or Tamiya would step up with some North Africa or South Pacific sets.

Try this site in the manufactures (sp?) for any Aussie stuff.

Firestorm models in particular.

Thanks,
