Nope, the body/arms/legs are from a couple DML german ww2 sets, jsut mixed and matched.  Cut off a pocket here and there and paint it in dark green and voila! it doesn't look german.  I was just going forsome kind of stereotypical uniform.  Just like you I was looknig everywhere for somli/african insurgent/militia bodies, and finally decided to mix and match ICM's Mujahideen figures and one or two body parts+the weapons and bicycle from DML's Viet cong set.  They sohuld come any day, so you can check out my thread in dios to see if they are what you are looknig for.

Well, I'm no great figure painter, and I'm equally bad at my photography, but, I'm learning with help from some forum members.  Anyways, these pictures aren't meant to be of the final figure, these were just some really qucik ones I took to show how it's looking.  The figure is DML, with a head by Warrior. I added the cigarette, and he is going to be holding the sling to an AK-47 strapped to his bacl, thats the reason for the position of his right arm.  Any tips appreciated.  I also see I should invest in better brushes and paint....the clothing and face actually look pretty good in real life, but it just looks so grainy from the poor quality craft paint and frayed brushes, once its up close in a picture.  Here it is so far, any advice is welcome.

And YES! he does have "aviator style" sunglasses.  How cool is that?

Sorry the pictures are so fall, I'll try and fix it later tonight when I get back.  Thanks for looking!
