If the link doesn't work go to squadron.com and type in AESGF11 in the search, that's the product code... good luck!

Dragon and Trumpeter make several sets of current US military figures, Army and Marines, in plasic 1/35 scale. They also have some sets of other nations (UK Desert Rats and SBS, French Foreign Legion ODS, Soviet VDV  and Spetznaz, etc.) from late 80's early 90's era. Verlinden and Warriors make a whole load in resin as well, also including some SOF types form the Afghan theater as well as Iraq. Not sure if Andrea does anything in white metal beyond 80's era, I am not overly familiar with their product line.

That being said, why not try to mention something productive for the person asking the question instead of just posting such an assanine comment!

I don't know of anyone that makes modern stuff... most popular figures are ancient to Napoleonic, then WWII... Good luck!

Okay then, do a search on Greatmodels and you'll find a ton of them. Use keywords like "modern", "Iraq", that sort of thing (I say Iraq because that's what's going on now, so if you look for stuff associated with iraq you won't find a bunch of stuff from WWII).

Shouldn't be too hard to find.

What nationality for the figure and what medium made from? Plastic, resin, or white metal? There are plenty of contemporary soldier figures to choose from out there.

54mm Modern Soldier
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 4:36 PM

I'm looking for a 54 mm modern  soldier in an action pose. I need something like they are charging. All I seem to be able to find are WWII soldiers and thats just not the right era. Any help would be great . I don't care what country they are from or type of material the figure is made from.

Thanks
