For resin, I always clean them first to remove any mold release residue & then prime.  I usually prime with Citadel White.

For resin figures, I airbrush enamel MM desert tan to prime. I've been happy with it so far.

im   going to be attempting to paint some 1/35 german figures. Is it best to prime them first? their resin. If so, what color is good for primer?
