Question on figures
Posted by jwb on Sunday, November 4, 2007 6:19 PM

I'm helping a friend out to check on availability of some figures, as I know zero about it- but I know folks here on these forums would if anyone does!

He's looking for Biblical figures and dioramas.... anyone know a source for those?

Thanks for any help!

The only thing I can think of is Minicraft's Noah's Ark. I have some vague recollection of a couple figures from the new testament but that may be a figment of my imagination.

With a bit of work and/or imaginatios, this could pass as Sampson:

Both are available at The Red Lancer

Also may want to checkout WWW.ONE2BELIEVE.COM  They carry some religious and Biblical action figures. Certain WalMart stores around the country are going to test market these also but you can order direct from One2believe too.

I helpped my father build a scale model of the tabernacle

http://www.the-tabernacle-place.com/

It went together reasonable well.  I am not sure that everything is scaled to each other and the figures are Vinyl so make sure to use arcylics (I knew this yet still messed up, I thought I had it primmed good).

It would be great for during the exodus. I know that there are many figures of Romans that could be used in New Testament arrangments.  I have used http://www.coloradominiatures.com/

for figures, sometimes it takes awhile but they have good prices.

The guy below is a November release. With a bit of work he could easily pass for any number of OT figures.
