OK, I'll ask.  How do you know?  Big Smile [:D]  I have been using CA type glues for years in building aircraft models, so I too have learned the hard way.  Banged Head [banghead]

If the heads have any length of neck to them, open a hole where the removed head was just slightly larger than the neck. Attach the head as Gino suggested with superglue or epoxy. This will eliminate the need to do any filling.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Thanks.  Now all I need is some 1/32 scale ground crew figures.  I haven't been able to locate any AF style Vietnam era figures in 1/32 scale.

Superglue will hold fine.  So will 5-minute epoxy or the likes.  For filler, you can use thick superglue or any normal model filler putty.  I like Squadron green since it is pretty fine and easy to see when it is applied.  About the only difference when working with resin and/or metal is the glues used.  Most of the other tools and techniques are the same.

Good luck.

I have to modify several 1/32 scale resin aircrew figures by removing their heads and attaching white metal heads.  The problem is most 1/32 figures come with helmets installed and Air Force crews did not wear their helmet until they were completely strapped into the cockpit.  I am going to drill small holes and attach small wire to hold the heads in position.  Will CA work in attaching the heads?  What would I use as a filler between the white metal and resin?  I will need to use something that would be easy to work with on such a small area.
