Bow [bow] terrible, just terrible the picture is too green and ah...the rifle is not painted....Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

great work, I wish I could do that, I paint the face and end up with paint on the collar then paint the collar and get paint on the face or coat, then I touch up and end up with over painting the smuge and then add NEW over paint smuges Make a Toast [#toast] cheers to your work.

from he who has 50 figures that need painting { I hang with the 1/48 because the detail is harder to spot in person[ :-^]  }

The painting looks pretty good. Nice work on the collar tabs.

Check the white balance on your camera to make sure it's set to the type of light you're using. Looks like you have a daylight setting under flourescent lighting. Also, try using a light from each side to reduce the shadows on his face. Consider getting a remnant of cloth at a fabric store and use that as a back drop. Or find an appropriate landscape for a back drop.

Questions: Are the buttons supposed to be the same color as the tunic? Are you going to add a chin strap to the helmet?

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Ah! A chinstrap! I'll get on that immediately.

Thank you for the correction about his 1943 Tunic. Referencing my handy Collectors guide to the history and uniforms of das Heer 33-45 by Chris Ellis, I see that they need to be aluminum. Is it possible perhaps that troopers painted them in the field?

Thank you dostacos for your kind words. Yes the rifle will eventually be painted.
