German Uniform 1940-1945 Color Schemes
Posted by Semper Fi on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 1:21 AM

I am having problems locating accurate literature detailing German uniform color schemes used during WWII. Anyone know of a particular publisher that depicts full colored pictures/drawings of German soldiers uniforms used for the different theaters or campaigns throughout WWII? Actually any type of colored resource would be great.

Try Osprey pubishing. They make a whole series of books in this area. Also Concord books prints a few as well. Both of these series are quite affordable. There are numerous hardbound books as well on this subject by other publishers that are pricier out there also.

Try amazon or yahoo shopping for them I have also seen them at borders books and music if you have that store in your area . Ther e are 8 or so books in the collection . Everything from Brit, American and german uniforms to armor of each  and about battles of WWII in Europe ! I think the author is Alexandre Thers .
